Interpreting Iridescence

This project was inspired by the iridescent qualities within peacock feathers. I created pieces that worked well with light yet retained colour quality and composition. Rust solution and Indigo was used to represent the gradual shifts of colour within the feathers. All pieces were hand dyed and screen printed. The outcomes are suitable for wall hanging, room dividers or as art décor. All photographs taken by Abeer Kayani (2018)
